It didn't take long to get the handle of how the whole kayaking thing works. But after working up an appetite, Else Marie and Anna fixed a lunch while the group of eight excitement-seekers explored a new beach. Naturally, I had to venture in for some pics and nearly got swept up by the fast-moving water.

As we enjoyed our light lunch we swapped stories to learn more about each other. There was a couple celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, there was a young couple from the United States, and even some tourists from Europe had joined us for the trip -- certainly a diverse group on the tour. After we returned back to home base I chatted with Else about everything NovaShores has to offer.
