FROM JB:
The theme of my trip to Nova Scotia is: get wet and dirty. Naturally, as the sun sets we head out clamming and I am determined to catch five clams hiding under the sand. If the little kids with me have a half pail in a matter of minutes, there's no way I'm leaving with an empty bucket. As Terry the Clammer gives me advice he shows me how a pro does it. Unfortunately, I don't have the same luck.
FROM JB:
In the end I got three clams. It's not bad for a first attempt but the chase is fun. Looking closely at the ground to see where the holes are and going after the little suckers is entertaining. But when they get away it's even more motivating to get the next bigger better clam.
